Accessibility Statement

The standard we work to

This site is built to target the Israeli standard IS 5568, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, and we use WCAG 2.1 AA as the working reference.

What has been done

• Accessibility controls on every page, at the bottom left. They change text size, reduce motion, raise contrast and underline links. They are built into the site rather than added by a third-party overlay, so each one changes the page itself.
• Motion can be stopped. The moving ticker on the home page runs on a loop; the reduce-motion control stops it, along with the scroll animations and the blinking cursor. The site also follows your operating system’s “reduce motion” setting automatically, without you having to ask twice.
• Contrast. Text and background combinations were measured rather than estimated, against the composited background actually used. Body text meets or exceeds the AA threshold of 4.5:1; the higher-contrast control raises the muted greys further, to roughly 14:1 for body text and 12:1 for the margin notes.
• Keyboard. The page can be navigated by keyboard, a “skip to content” link is the first thing focusable on each page, focus is visible, and the accessibility panel closes with Esc and returns focus to the button that opened it.
• Structure and text. Pages use real headings in order, one h1 per page, and semantic HTML rather than styled generic elements. Images and diagrams carry text alternatives that describe what they show. The page language is declared. Text sizing is relative, so the layout reflows when you enlarge it instead of overflowing.
• No barriers by construction. There are no forms, no time limits, no pop-ups, no auto-playing audio or video, and no content that flashes.

Known shortfalls

We would rather name these than imply the site is perfect.

• Our investor relations pages are hosted by a third party and are not part of this website. They are served from our IR provider’s platform, and their accessibility is determined by that provider, not by us. We have raised accessibility and metadata issues with them. If you meet a barrier there, please tell us anyway and we will pass it on.
• No formal audit has been carried out. Contrast, keyboard operation, heading structure and text alternatives have been checked during development, including with measurement rather than by eye. That is not the same as a professional audit or as testing with people who use assistive technology daily, and we do not claim that it is.
• Some content is inherently visual. Diagrams and photographs carry text alternatives describing what they show, but a description is not the same as the image. If something is unclear, ask us and we will describe it properly.

Telling us about a problem

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know. Please describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if you can — it makes the problem much easier to reproduce.

The Israeli regulations expect a coordinator to be reachable by phone as well as in writing, and someone who cannot use email is exactly the person this contact is for.
